Hello, everyone. Here's my submission for a character. I'm wanting to do something a little different than the usual wizard thing.
EDIT: Take two! Hope this is better.
The Basics
Name: Agent John Lancaster (Assumed name by order of Prime Minister)
Age: 53
Birthday: September 18
Sex: Male
Sexual Orientation: Straight
Blood status: Muggle, no magical heritage
Parents: Deceased
Siblings: None
Wand: None
Affinities: None
Natural talents: None magical; trained in several forms of combat and unique special ops skills.
Job: Director of Blackstone
—Brief Job Description: . A part of the Saxxon Act of 1998, itself the result of what has come to be known as the Cardiff Incident, the details of which are classified, the Blackstone Initiative was implemented by the Prime Minister to establish an organization to liaison and represent Muggle interests to the Wizarding world. Blackstone is a top-secret organization known to only few high ranking officials in the British government and the Ministry of Magic. Agent Lancaster is the director of Blackstone, the man charged with overseeing operations across the country, and as such has access to a vast collection of resources and skills.
Physical
Hair: Chestnut brown with shades of gray
Eyes: Green
Height: 6’3
Build: Medium athletic
Other: Small scar on his left check, large scar across his chest.
Personality/Demeanour
Likes: Scotch, military history, that pastry shop on Baker St., old Vincent Price movies
Dislikes: People (particularly magical people), his job, generally everything.
Strengths: Expert in multiple forms of combat (armed and unarmed), special operatives training, can speak multiple languages, resolute will.
Weaknesses: Not a sociable or likable person, takes no joy in life, early signs of alcoholism.
History and General Biography
History: Very little is known about Agent Lancaster. Only certain officials of the British government know is full story. His existence, like the rest of Blackstone, is classified above top-secret by order of the Prime Minister. Blackstone, and by extension Agent Lancaster, is not even very well known to the wizarding world. What is known about him is that he served in the British military as a young man, and has since gone on to work with various secret agents under British rule. Always assuming a different name, leaving his birth name shrouded under mountains of red tape, Agent Lancaster was assigned to the position of Director of Blackstone shortly after the organization’s inception after the previous director was assassinated by a rogue Death Eater. Since what has come to be known as the Voldemort Incident, the Prime Minister has ordered that Blackstone play a much more direct role in the wizarding world, a fact Agent Lancaster is none too happy about.
General Biography: He takes no joy in his work, or his life for that instance, and has a reputation among his peers as being strictly professional to a fault. His personal life and information is classified; as a result, little is known about this man in either the muggle or wizard world, with the exception being precious few high ranking officials in the British government and the Ministry of Magic. Despite this, his existence is not entirely unknown to the students of the various wizarding schools – after all, parents working at the Ministry have been known to mention him after the long, frustrating days at work that usually accompany his presence. He does not particularly like his job, having had other dreams for his life; as such, he harbors a minor resentment for magical and supernatural people, but keeps himself professional enough to do his job and do it well.
Belongings:
Other: Agent Lancaster has no personal belongings, having long since given himself wholly to his job. He carries on him at all times two handguns and a combat knife, all hidden on his person. Only a few people know the purpose of his presence at Hogwarts at the beginning of the year.
