Razeil shifted as he moved down the hall heading for Victoria's office. He had to see her again because he was almost positive there was something about her that would break this urge to speak with her. He fidgeted a bit as her door came into a more clearer view. He stood in front of it for what seemed like hours to him. Thoughts running through his head about how he should turn around. She was bad news, he wasn't going to get involved with some one even as friends. Involvement means risk, risk means taking advantage of, and he couldn't have that.
Thud, Thud, Thud. Razeil's blue eyes blinked rapidly. Was that my heart, he thought to himself as his eyes looked to his hand. It had betrayed him, or maybe it only lived out his true feelings. He yanked his hand down, stepped back and stared at the door curiously. Maybe she wasn't home...maybe he would be able to escape without being cornered like a mouse. He was close enough to a mouse, being a coward towards a woman. Yes, a slender...gorgeous woman who had so much control on him without knowing him. What was wrong with him...it was as if his year of crush that he managed to skip in school was suddenly kicking him in the bum.
Razeil gulped before moving back forward and sighing, "Accio rose" he mumbled as the door to his office much further into the dungeon flew open as a rose shot through the air. He snatched it up sniffing at it wondering if this was to much. He inhaled the scent as he calmed his nerves waiting for her to pry the door open to see who was knocking on her door.

Victoria stumbled, tired after her long afternoon out shopping with her best friend. She held 5 large shopping bags, each filled to the brim with clothes from the new boutique. About 500 Galleons in the hole already, and the Great Feast hadn't even started yet. Oh well, she thought. Perks of having an age old trust fund from your parents you haven't seen in roughly 11 years. Her thoughts trailed off, wondering what life would be like if they were even around at this point, or frankly, at any point past her 13th birthday.
Straightening out her outfit and gathering herself together after the stumble, she looked up at her door, only to see someone knocking. The gentleman with the cat from the staff room...what was his name...Razeil Black? What was he doing at her door? She called to him curiously, tilting her head a little to the side. "Professor Black? Is...there something I can help you with?"

Razeil blinked looking at her as he licked his lips to wet them before nodding. "Oh, I was just coming by to speak to a fellow teacher in Hogwarts. I figured since you were teaching potions and I was not to far from here in my own office and class room, I would come over and say hello. I hope I am not intruding..." He said still standing where he was fiddling with the rose looking her over from head to toe as admired her form and what she had on. He gulped a bit as he looked to her bags.
Dropping the rose, he darted forward and grabbed the bags from her shaking his head. "No no, this won't do. Struggling with these bags down the narrow stair well must have been difficult. Let me carry them for you to the room. I don't mind." He nodded looking down to the rose in front of her door. "Oh crap..." He mumbled. "I dropped the rose...." He mumbled under his breath as he had acted on impulse to relieve her of her heavy looking bags of clothing.

Watching him as he took her bags, she noticed how unladylike she was looking. She looked like a preteen with a shopping addiction. And in some ways, she was. She sure loved her shoes. The ankle boots with the thin heels she had on now were fantastic, albeit terrble to walk in. Regardless, she'd had fun with Genie, catching up on summer and gossiping about the new staff. Now it was time to test a few things she had mentioned to Genie earlier.
"Oh, it's okay you don't have to..." But with that, her bags were gone and he was toting them into her office. She always used this path to her quarters since it was only one flight of stairs, rater than the 50 or so it would take for Victoria to get from her office in the dungeons to her bedroom in Ravenclaw Tower. Brushing her hands down her white and black draped wrap dress and pulling on her black jacket to straighten it out, Victoria looked down at the dropped rose. He was really something, she thought. She let the thought pass as she carefully picked it up, and continued the conversation.
"No no, you're not intruding, I was just heading to my quarters this way, a bit easier when I've got an armload of bags to carry. Being Head of Ravenclaw has its downsides when you teach way down here in this musty place...is this for me?" She looked around, viewing the room she had put together so carefully in order to make it cheerier than the rest of the dingy looking dungeon. Blue paint covered the walls, and white furniture, along with a glass top desk that she kept neatly organized. Being a true Ravenclaw, books lined several bookshelves behind her desk, and her eyes once again landed on Razeil. Gazing at him with a bit more carefulness, she realized he was kind of attractive, regardless of the fact that she saw him stumble all over his words when she was around him.

Razeil blinked slipping into the office and looking her over. "It is for you..." He blushed slightly before turning his head and glancing around the neat blue and white themed office. He admired the true devotion to her class. He tilted his head slightly before wondering how she would manage to get up to her room from here with all these bags. "how do you manage to get to Ravenclaw tower from down here in your office anyhow?" He asked curiously. His legs carrying him by her desk where he would place the bags by her desk neatly.
He would kneel and keep messing with it working on making them as neat as possible before standing up. He hadn't noticed his locket falling out of his pocket as he stood up and moved back to her. Smiling, he looked around curiously. "So, nice room..." He mumbled shyly as he looked every where but where she was. His face had stubble on it from lack of shaving, his hair was messy as was a trait in his family, and his piercing blue orbs for eyes were seemingly darting back and forth in nervousness as he tried to keep the conversation going. He wasn't sure why he was like this, but she made him really tense when she was around.

Victoria smiled at his thoughtfulness in giving her the rose. She wondered if she had told him her middle name, and then glanced down at her nameplate on her desk, he'd probably seen it there or on her door, something. No matter, even if he hadn't. It was sweet. She took out her wand and whispered, "Aguamenti," towards an empty vase she had sitting on her desk. Filling it with water, she placed the rose inside, and turned to him again.
Hearing his question, she gave him an inquisitive face. "Didn't you know? When the new Headmistress arrived, she allowed Professors limited Apparition abilities within the castle. Sadly it only extends from one's office to their bedchambers, but still, for someone who lives near a quarter a mile up from their classroom, it's nice. I use it to get from the Entrance Hall to my room all the time." She paused, noticing him get nervous around her. Watching him look around the room, she made a careful thought in her mind towards his eyes. Blue, just like her office, and just like her House colors. "Yeah, it is a nice room, I just redecorated when I got here." She gazed at him curiously, wondering why he was so nervous. "So what are your plans for the year, being a new instructor and all?"

Razeil blinked before nodding, He never knew that he could apparate to his bedchambers from his office. Though, he didn't need to because of how close Slytherin chambers were from here which meant his room wasn't very far away either. He never had thought of how troublesome the trip up and down the castle's stairs would be for her. He would have to run up and down the stairs a few times to see how they would feel to her traveling up if she had to. He shook his head before smiling to her on her question about what he had planned for this year.
"Well aside from meeting new people I've not before, I figured I would teach the students some forgotten magic. Perhaps on a free period you could sit in on one of my classes and possibly see what I have to offer the school?" He blinked realizing what he had said he looked away and cleared his throat softly. "I mean, of course you're probably to busy for that. I wouldn't want you to go out of your way just to show up to appease me" He backed up trying to take back what he said before blushing harder than he had ever done in her company. "I don't mean you look like some one who would bend to make people happy....ugh I don't mean you're a horrid stuck up stingy person either." He fumbled and closed his eyes calming himself. "Should I go?" He whispered wondering what she thought about him.
There were so many things shooting through his head warning him if he kept messing up she would catch on that he found her interesting along with sorta beautiful. He wanted to tug on his hair and rip it out to let out his frustration. Shifting on one foot then the other, his blue eyes glancing up to her curiously. What does she think about him, why does she actually deal with his fumbling shy bumbling self.

Victoria watched him speak, stumbling over words that were really no big deal. Smiling at him almost teasingly, she spoke. "It's okay, Razeil. I'll probably venture your way out of boredom anyway. I know you aren't saying that. I can be a bitch sometimes though. I'm pretty selfish and about as territorial as a 12 year old girl. For the most part though, I'm fairly easy to get along with."
She didn't understand why she was opening up to him like this. She enjoyed his company, as quirky as he was, but she never just opened up to people. Interesting. "No, you don't have to go. Besides, you came here to chat with me, no? What's on your mind?" Walking over to the other side of her desk, she sat her wand down and took a seat, motioning for him to sit in front of her. He had somewhat of a rugged look to him, that was it. She had realized what she liked about his appearance after all.

Razeil glanced to the chair, his nose catching the scent in the room and noting it was her scent. He inhaled sharply taking a deep breath and holding it as he moved to take the seat. He exhaled slowly basking in the scent as odd as that sounded. He like the smell of pretty things, did he just think she was pretty and liked her scent. He twitched before looking to the side wondering about what he would say to her. He didn't know how to handle things let along speak to women. HE shook his head at her question as he ran his hand along his jawline, feeling the stubble. He noted he needed to shave.
"I was just stopping by to see you and your office. I was more or less being friendly. I didn't want to seem like the mean old Head of Slytherin like the previous Head was. I mean, Snape was a bit of a fool too, but I won't go there." He mumbled his distaste for one of the most foulest yet compassionate wizard he had met in his life. His blue eyes glancing over her lingering once more before he shot to the side thinking to himself. Why did he keep wanting to look at her.

Looking down suddenly, she hadn't expected him to be so...formal with her. She glanced at the white rose, admiring its beauty for a moment before letting her gaze fall back to him. Tilting her head to the right, watching him curiously fumble as he spoke, Victoria realised she couldn't stop smiling at him. Whether out of petty politeness, or out of the simple fact that she felt mildly comfortable around him, she made a mental note to change her routine. She knew she looked like a schoolgirl around him. Realising she was spending too much time in thought again, she nodded at him. "Well, you've seen me and my office, I guess. It's all revamped and pretty since I don't like to be reminded I'm in the dungeons. Sounds so depressing. I'm going to spend the weekend redecorating the room, as well. You're welcome to join me if you like, I think Genie's going to come help out. Anyway, I need to go put these clothes away."
And with that, Victoria picked up her bags and vanished out of the room, to her bedchambers where she let out a sigh of relief, as she could feel herself tensing up in the room. She hoped he didn't think she was running. She hoped he didn't think she was a child, either. She definitely did not want to be seen as a child. She was a woman. And refused to acknowledge anything else. What was going on with her? She had almost lost it in front of Razeil. She made a note to fill Genie in on the event as she swished her wand, watching her cabinets open and her new clothes neatly organize themselves on hangers.

Razeil watched her leave, with her back turned he admired her far longer than he should have. Her legs, her curves, her hands, arms, hair, the way she held herself and so much more. He couldn't believe such a woman was the potions teacher. Thinking back to the staff room he tilted his head, "Did....I eat or drink something..." He mumbled thinking she might have love potioned him. He shook his head, "She's not interested Razeil...get over it." He mumbled standing as he slipped out. Unknowingly leaving his locket with her in her office.
